| "Let Badfrog Take The Fun Out of Surfing The Net For You!" |
| If, through clenched teeth, you answered "yes" to these questions, then please take comfort in the fact that you're not alone. There are thousands of us, just like you, all across La Isla. We're an army of disillusioned surfers using Badfrog.Net as our board. I know what you're thinking .... you're thinking, "Well, maybe, but on the bright side, things can't get much worse." What??? C'mon ... you're not only disillusioned, you're psychotic! Of course things could get worse .... Pizza Hut could refuse to deliver! hey man, I was only having fun ... look at it this way ... if you slit your wrists, we'll never get you to the hospital in time ... the traffic's backed up for miles ... what? ... no, not rush hour ... a fender bender ... the most beautiful girl in Puerto Rico walking by on her way home from school ... it's her 3rd accident this month ... I suspect the school board will be forced to provide her with transportation long before she graduates from junior high ... in the mean time, put down the knife, ok? Don't give up on reliable Internet service just yet. There may be a light at the end of the tunnel. It's a very faint light, in a very long tunnel, but it is there, none the less. The source of this light is GTE Corporation. GTE is the company which recently took control of an inefficient, payroll padded, unionized monopoly called ... no silly, not the Government of Puerto Rico ... the PRTC. Needless to say, Wall Street blinked several times in astonishment, Anyway, on those days when you're lucky enough to actually get a dial tone, the cost of making telephone calls in Puerto Rico can add up quickly. Not surprising, really, in view of the PRTC's #1 law of physics .... |
| "If You Can't Reach Out And Touch Someone, Then Toll Charges Apply!" |
| Pretty much rules out dialing into San Juan, wouldn't you agree? Toll charges prevent you from enjoying a "world class" ISP like AT&T WorldNet. By the same token, toll charges allow Badfrog to continue providing its subscribers (you) with 2nd rate service. What I'm suggesting to all of you is this:
